Welcome to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ page). Below, we have tried to answer the most commonly asked questions from visitors to our web site, callers and e-mails that we have received.  1.   How much will it cost to get me into the reunion events?

    Entrance to most events are FREE!.

 2.   How many people may I bring to the reunion?

    We encourage you to bring your entire family, regardless of its size.

3.    Where will we park our cars?

    There will be parking attendants directing drivers to designated parking lots.

 4.   May we bring people who have no ties to Dover as our guest?

    Yes! You are allowed to bring anyone you wish, however; the events that are FREE! for existing and former Doverites will not be FREE! for your guest.

 5.   What accommodations will you have for senior citizens?

    We will have chairs and benches for seniors and there will be golf carts transporting them around the event. There will also be a special tent with seating designated for seniors and the handicapped only.

 6.   What events will be for children?

    There will be a carnival of rides, games, etc. for children and children at heart.

 7.   Will we have to bring our own food or will the committee cook it?

    There will be vendors in a special food section at the event providing a variety of foods.

 8.   Will there be carnival type games?

    Yes! As a matter of fact there will be roller coasters, bumper cars, swings, tent games, etc. We will have something for everyone.

 9.   Where will the reunion events be held?

    The state has given us permission to close some streets in the town of Dover for the entire event period.

 10.  What times will the reunion be held?

    Friday, July 16, 2010 from 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.- Saturday, July 17, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.- Sunday, July 18, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

 11.  Where can we stay and will the hotels be providing discounts?

    Check the accommodations page that is where the hotels are listed.

 12.  Will there be any musical entertainment?

    Definitely! There will be a variety of all types of music performed by bands and performers from all musical genres all weekend.

13.      What if I need extra cash?

    There will be several ATM machines throughout the Reunion area.

14.    Are pets allowed at the Reunion event?

    We are expecting record attendance and although most pets are well behaved, some are not. In order to ensure the safety of our attendees and of the pets, the Committee decided to ban all pets from the Reunion event.

15.    With the streets being closed so early in the mornings, how will I receive my              mail for those days?

    The Committee has been working very closely with Dover’s Postmaster and she has agreed to deliver the mail earlier on Friday and Saturday mornings, prior to the official start of each day’s events. The streets not closed will receive their mail the normal time.

16.    Will the Town of Dover receive any tax revenue from the sale of vendor                       products during this event?

    No! The Town’s Board of Alderman decided that it does not want to receive any taxes from vendor sales.
